Male, married with two boys, in Lakeland, Florida. So far I primarily buy and hold single family homes (and one duplex). Real estate allowed my wife to quit working when our first son was born, and I quit my job (Just Over Broke) in December 2007 to manage our rentals and do real estate full time. I flip/rehab/wholesale a few, but primarily keep them. As of April 2010 I just put a contract on our 20th unit. I do some rent to own, and owner financing, and 2 of our 20 units are mortgages we collect (I sold rental houses with owner financing). The real estate downturn blasted our net worth a bit, but has provided a buying opportunity, and we will come back bigger and better than ever!!! Best wishes all!!!

P.S. - This is an ADVERTISEMENT: I am actively looking for private mortgages from individuals. I pay 8% interest, terms from 8-30 years, and very safe (50% LTV first mortgages, and I have never been a day late or a dollar short with any payment ever!).
