What do you do with a bad day?

By Chris Jones (Zeru) - Millionaire in Training, MMMChallenge.com

Praise I got an early call today from someone and the conversation just aggravated me. I found myself focusing on the call even after it was over. The day had just began but might as well have been over. The energy was just being sucked out of an otherwise bright and hopeful morning.
What do you do? Do you go inside yourself and try to find a human solution to a human problem? Here is what I did - I entered into "The Gate of Praise." I was reading from "The Wisdom Commentary 1" by Mike Murdock.

* Judah - which mean praise, was the first tribe into battle. Praise is the sound that makes hell sick.
* Praise is an act of the will. It is not something you have to feel in order for it to be real. It is not meditation; it is something that is heard.
* Praise takes your mind off yourself.
* Praise lifts you to where God is.
* Praise is something you deliberately choose to do, to acknowledge the power of God.
* The purpose of praise is not just to make you feel good, but it is also to stir up others.

From page 31 & 32.

I choose to have a great day no matter what comes my way. I stir up myself and I hope to stir you up too. I have my phone interview this afternoon. It is going to be fine. God is good. Life is sweet. Let nothing and no one bring you down.

Wisdom & Knowledge

By Mohamed
" Knowledge is knowing that the tomato is a fruit,
Wisdom is knowing not to put a tomato in your fruit salad"

Such is the challenge of decision-making, in amongst other things; real estate transactions.  The current real-estate crisis is a case-in-point where the so-called gung-ho knowledgeable pundits were proved wrong once more & the generally gray-haired savvy investors ; with wisdom derived from experience & educated caution, have come out scented like rosebuds.

This highlights the need for consultation with your peers.  The projection may be promising, the math may be looking feasable, but the intuition & understanding of certain variables remains in the domain of the wise, who through experience, coupled with knowlege, have better insights as to the viability of a project.

Thus it is imperative,to avert costly experiences you consult the best in the field, even if the risk is the loss of an opportunity; because that loss is merely a mirage as compared to the nightmare of an actual monetary loss resulting from ill-advised decisions.
