Importance of Blogging and Article Marketing in Real Estate Marketing

By Danny Welsh, CMO of HIS, Greatest Real Estate Giveaway Director

What’s the importance of blogging?  What about article marketing? If you’re a real estate investor or professional, should you do it? What happens if you're not a good writer? What's the whole point of this? I really don't see what the big deal is. There are some people that feel like just by blogging that they're somehow this nihilistic person that thinks the most of themselves and the entire world should listen in, but that’s not what blogging is about.

Blogging is about finding people who want to connect with you in the way you're able to add value to them to the world through your business, your personality and your own personal sense of what you can accomplish or solve problems for others. It's also a way of creating credibility.

Let's say you meet someone at a conference, they're considering doing business with you in one way or another so they want to come back and look you up. What are they going to do in today’s day and age? They're probably going to look you up on the Internet. They're going to want to find out who has worked with you, who you know, whether they're connected to you already, what you've done in the past, what your skill sets are, what you're like and what your personality is.

We live in a very transparent world where all that information for someone that knows how to and is interested to find it can do so. You have to make sure that as much of what they find reflects what you're able to do for them as you can.

Are you starting to see the importance of blogging and article marketing in real estate marketing yet? Let me just tell you one quick thing; I'll tell you a good 5-12% of my database for real estate investors has come from blogging and article marketing. That speaks for itself, because we have a pretty big list of people that we work with, both me personally and through the real estate network.

These people are consistently staying engaged with us because of the valuable content that we give them. There are lots of article marketing websites out there to post your blogging content on for extra exposure, and once you post your articles, they will be on the internet for forever. That's one of the cool parts about marketing on the Internet in that it continues to work for you long after you've extended the effort to put it out there.

Don’t overlook the importance of blogging and article marketing in real estate marketing. You will be amazed at the opportunities that spring into your life. Some of them will be direct and some indirect, but all of them will add to your fun and add to your bottom line as a real estate professional or investor.

Secrets Of A Successful Blog!

By Fabio Sekoff-Millionaire in Training,MMMCahllenge.com
Do you know the characteristics of successful blogs? Successful blogs that make a lot of money have a lot of readers so if you want to have success with your blog, focus on getting lots of readers. There are many ways to go about getting readers, but you should know that only about a handful of them work to get you the readers that you desire.
If you didn't already know, you need a blog so that you can propel your business to the next level. I think it's plain to see that having a blog can do a lot for your business growth. In the internet marketing world, there's an old saying that says "the money is in the list", so if you want to earn money with your blog, focus on building a list.
Popular blogs have a readership level in the thousands. It could take some time to build this up from scratch or you can pay for advertising and set up a capture page to get users to subscribe to your blog. I personally feel that the first option of building a list from scratch is better. With this you are using free advertising. For one these people know you and like you and have grown to listen to your advice. If you think that you can't build a successful blog from scratch, then think again.
Internet marketing in general is hard, and building a successful blog is even harder. Popular blogs get a lot of traffic on a daily basis but you shouldn't let this discourage you if you're not getting a lot of traffic yet. You want to build successful blogs so that you can be perceived as an obvious expert in your niche. With credibility behind you, it will be easier for you to sell your products and services.
It doesn't matter what you use to monetize your blog - you need a lot of subscribers to make it successful. If you have Google AdSense on your blog, you should know that you will get a lot of clicks, but to repeatedly see the numbers rise in your favor, you need a following of people who will visit your blog on a daily basis. This is something that successful blogs have.
I mentioned above that successful blogs have a lot of traffic to their blog. This is important because without a lot of traffic you're dead in the water. You need a lot of traffic if you want to survive in the internet marketing world - that's just marketing 101. There are a ton of ways to get traffic, but only a few of them are worth your time. If you're a beginner, you should stick with the free ways to get traffic since you probably won't have a lot of money for advertising.
One of the best kinds of free advertising is video marketing. All you do is create 3-5 minute long videos and submit them to the top video sites. Sites such as YouTube, Metacafe, and Google Video are all popular sites and get a lot of traffic to them on a daily basis. You can stand to benefit from the traffic that these sites can deliver to you.
Another way to get traffic is with article marketing. Simply write up 300-500 word articles and submit them to the top article directories. Here are a few of my favorites below:
All of these sites can deliver a ton of hits to your blog. You will want to write on topics that are related to your blog so that you can get targeted visitors. You get search engine traffic when you write for the article directories, and you also get traffic when website owners publish your article on their website.
Another great way to get free traffic is with forum marketing. Sign up to a forum and post helpful messages on the forums. Reserve your advertising message until your signature line as this is the proper place to put your message - so keep this in mind.
Successful blogs have all of these things in common. If you want a blog that is successful, simply follow the tips in this article.

Hot-Button Housing Issues

By Josette, Millionaire in Training @ MMM Challenge.com

Blog for Article Marketing - Josette Hill-White......

According to Troy Anderson, CEO of Knowledgeplex, Inc in his Special Report on Housing; While this election season has focused primarily on the economy, the war in Iraq, and who is best qualified to lead, there has been relatively little mention of one issue that has great bearing on many of the other crucial topics that will come up for debate – affordable housing.

Invariably, when I tell people outside the field that I work in affordable housing, their response is either “Habitat for Humanity?” or “What affordable housing?!” I suppose it’s all right that people don’t know the intricacies of how the housing market is made to serve the needs of our communities and our neighbors. It is understandable that people may not always identify the many advocates and organizations working in their communities to get loans made and homes built for working families, rentals affordable, homeless housed, and blight torn down. However, we should all understand the effects of this work.

First, there’s the “where” factor.Where you live determines the caliber of public education that kids in your neighborhood receive. It impacts your family’s safety. Where you live relates directly to the quality of the air you breathe, the price of gas you will pay, and the language people will speak at restaurants, gas stations, and voting booths.

undefinedThen, there’s “how." How much money you have saved is often determined by your home equity and the distance you travel to work. Don’t get me started on who, what, and why -- you get my point. Your home, your neighborhood, your savings, and your pursuit of happiness all directly inform numerous issues that our leaders will need to address. Ironically, many of these issues are relegated to the back pages rather than the national spotlight.

Housing does benefit from the work done on such critical matters as health, education, transportation, jobs, and other “big ticket” election issues. However, housing can also help solve some of the challenges of these issues. Thus, if the benefits from housing extend to other areas, perhaps a little more focus is warranted. With this hypothesis, we at KnowledgePlex asked Lora Engdahl, our stalwart Week in Review editor, to work on a summary piece on affordable housing, with the goal of getting people up to speed on the topic before the election. We knew the task would be big but, now, after reading it, it seems even bigger. Not only is foreclosure and subprime lending just one part of the affordable housing issue, it might not even be the biggest challenge before us.

In November, you will have the chance to determine the focus of this country’s next leadership on affordable housing and its wide-reaching implications. In this Special Report, we hope to provide you with some questions – and answers – to ponder before making your voice heard.
