Words of advice For those NOT chosen for the 2011 MMM Challenge with HIS Real Estate Network

As we approach Friday of this week when the program directors will
share their decisions for the 36 "menterns" chosen to work with HIS
Real Estate Network in 2011 mmmchallenge.com class for 6
months, as mentorees and apprentices in this unique internship
program....I wanted to take a chance to speak to those who will NOT
BE CHOSEN.
Of course...if you're NOT chosen for the 36 it does not mean you don't have anything of value to offer, ok? Don't take it personally. Even if you didn't make the final 70 before this year's class was selected it does not mean you're out of options or that you aren't an excellent human being!
We'll have to get a good mix of experiences, background, skillsets etc with a focus like we said mostly on desire and commitment. It's very likely a number of people I consider phenomenal human beings will not be chosen for the 36.
And while that is sad, it is also NOT (and should not be for you) considered the end of the world. Now that many of you have been exposed to the idea of a "menternship" I fully expect some of you NOT chosen to do one of two things: 1. follow our progress and the 36's progress IN the community here on realdealcommunity.com during the 6 month program, and/or 2. find the most successful investor(s) in your area and approach them in the same way you have approached us.
If you do, you'll be surprised at what you can learn and who will work with you in that capacity.
Sure there's people out there who won;t mentor you without 10 grand or more (we all know who they are, right?) but you WILL find others willing to mentor you if you are not chosen for MMM Challenge, if you approach it in the right way, humble, add value to your prospective mentors and above all are persistent.
Besides, it takes HUGE confidence in your systems to train people for free the way we're doing in MMM Challenge- i.e. you have to KNOW that you can direct your students/interns to make money for themselves while simultaneously providing value to you.
Many "seminar types" simply CANNOT do this...andothers WILL NOT because they don't give a hoot about you or me or anybody.
(sorry to burst your bubble but there are some sharks in that fish tank)
But you'll find successful local investors and entrepreneurs who can and will mentor you like we mentor others...but they may not do it 'formally'.
If you present the idea to them in the right way and follow above steps, though, you can find the mentoring you seek/need.
For 36 of you, the journey doesn't end Friday when the selections for this year's MMM Challenge team are released after 4 weeks of interviews and applications and qualification steps.
Instead, it begins.
I challenge those of you NOT chosen for this year's MMM Challenge to see Friday the same way.
A new beginning for you and your family.
A different path, but no less the right one for you.

I can see why Jo, Sam, Dana and Alex were picked last year. They are truly awesome directors. All very different, but all very helpful, inspiring, and genuine people. It will be an honor for those who are chosen to work with all of you, no matter how small or how big the task. For those who are not chosen, you offer excellent advice. No matter what we are all WINNERS!

Obviously we all DEEPLY HOPE that we are one of the "36", but, if not, we should all be pumped-up to go out & DO SOMETHING in the right direction!
It might be a good suggestion to go to your Local R.E. Investment Group Meetings & network there....maybe even find a Mentor...but, be careful...make sure that they are the "Real Deal", & are actively & currently DOING, or trying to do deals & shadow along, if they let you.
Offer to do some of the "Front Man" work, if you know how to do the leg-work that may be slightly tedious to an Active Investor.
The Property Appraiser's Office here, even gives FREE Classes on how to navigate & maximize using their website, to get information...check with yours, if you need that training.

This is a grueling process for the Directors, and all involved in getting to this point. I'm certainly giving thanks for Sam, Dana, Jo and Alex, as well as Rick and you, Danny. I'm honored to know this awesome team of individuals. Danny, thanks for this opportunity!
Here you see all kinds of people really showing their stuff and yet we have all suffered in some shape or form some pain in our past.
Regardless the circumstances we've experienced we 're all standing up with our chest high and are eager to learn ready to become who we're meant to be and hope one day we can repeat the same thing you folks are doing; that is give back to Society, help others what you guys are doing for all of us.
I really want to thank you all for the opportunity and the inspiration you've given all of us to succeed.
I learned these profound words from a very respectable person one time, "When the student is ready, the teacher will appear"
I really "Believe" these words because it really comes down to "Timing" and also who are the right teachers!
I've learned from some very successful people is that the right teachers are the ones that have made it a millions times over and those are the people to be coached from or hang around and admire.
I also want to say in all of my years in business, dealing with all sort of clients, Fortune 500 or Mom and Pop is that, I always had a true sense, a feeling, a hunch, that my relationship doing business with those people were going to be Good or Bad right from the get-go, (start) and usually I would hit it 99.99% right on.
I felt real good when I enter this Challenge and the people involved made me feel even better, so I can truly say that I'm at the "Right Place at the Right Time" with the right people.
Finally I want to say that no matter what happens here at the MMM challenge I know that I will " Shine" like a Bright Star in the Universe, because I, Frank Sciolino "Believe" I will be a Real Estate Multi-Millionaire and there is nothing or no-one that is going to stop me .

I believe that one of the reasons we are all so excited about this Challenge is that we recognize that you and Rick are NOT sharks in that fish tank.
We see the VALUE in this unique opportunity. You didn't have to post this Blog, but I'm certainly glad and thankful you did. It's very Encouraging, you're letting people know it doesn't have to stop tomorrow. I agree with Tanya (she IS one of the Sharpest Tools in the Shed) and I said it in my blog too, that if we choose to stay connected and committed, there are NO LOSERS - WE ALL WIN!
And like Karli said, (another Sharp Tool in the Shed), this whole entire Process has been a Challenge, and will continue to be so.
