Hi Danny, I heard that postcards work very well as a means of
marketing... recently somebody noted the use of a yellow, folded
over standard letter size handwritten note on stock paper... I am
curious to know if anybody has experience with that type of
marketing?

I've used both handwritten yellow letters and postcards for
marketing Gina. Results from bnoth have been good. As with any form
of paid marketing you have to be very careful to test and track
your ROI for dollars spent. And you also have several decisions to
make, first of which is WHO to mail to as your MARKET is typically
as important if not MORE important than your MEDIUM (example:
postcards vs. handwritten yellow letters) and as important if not
MORE important than the MESSAGE (what it says on the letter or
postcard). A lot of the "experts" use the same postcard company to
do large mailouts as I do. It's called Sales Teeam Live and I did a
webinar with their founder Gary Boomershine to show people how it
worked a few months back. You can get info on them at their
website, just Google Gary's name. They are SOLID and can even
provide lists of people who are short sale candidates, possibly
have equity in their home, own land without a mortgage or whatever
you can think of mostly. Very affordable and highly professional
There's also a company I use for handwritten letters...about a buck
a letterand they pay single moms who work from home to write, fold,
stamp and mail (a big key is that the envelope ALSO must be
handwritten and using a live stamp)...otherwise it might not get
opened and no one will ever see your handwritten letter! Needless
to say, I don;t encourage you to write your own letters. Using
delegation and systems is a big difference between people who "make
it big" and people who piddle with real estate in my opinion. Danny

Hi Danny,
What about instead a letter in a envelope and try something bulky
that sticks out? I have seen companines sending out boat paddles or
even a frickin little plunger. Not saying that someone should use
those products but someting on the lines of that.
